Easter Egg Hunt at LTCC (2024):
This annual easter egg hunt has been a community event for decades. There are different groups based on age and other factors that all break off into sectioned off areas to hunt for eggs. There will be hot coca, a fun hat contest, a firetruck and more!
Junior Optimist Day of the Child Field Day at STHS (2024)
The day of the child field day had a large variety of food and drinks as well as many unique and different stations for kids to learn about different things our community offers at the both in and out of school.
Sawmill Pond Annual Fishing Derby (2024)
A fun day on the water! A competitive day to fish for kids with all of the equipment you need provided at the event. It is a fun day to show kids a new hobby or to practice an old one. There is music, food and snacks at the event.
Day in Paradise/ The Duck Races (2024)
The day in paradise is a summer event where our club sells merchandise, food, and fruit customized lemonade while there are a number of activities like face painting, cornhole, the duck race, and many other booths to entertain your family! This event is held at the Myers Paradise Park.
Meyers Mountain Fall Fest (2024)
The Myers Mountain Fall Fest we rented out a booth and taught and helped kids to use apples, stickers, paint, and sponges to make paintings.
Optimist Christmas Tree Lot (2024)
Another annual community tradition, the Optimist club have put on this tree lot for years, now with the help of the Junior Optimists.
Valentine’s Day Candy Drive (2025)
This fundraiser was done at the highschool for Valentines day. A student or staff member could send a message and lollipop to a friend or Valentine for 2$.
Easter Egg Hunt at LTCC (2025)
This free event held at LTCC let kids ages 1-11 participate in a fun and exciting easter egg hunt. Kids also were able to participate in a parade, take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and get lots of candy as well as hot chocolate!
